Dome Cedar Ceiling Lining in Melville – Perth

Dome lined ceiling using real Cedar wood boards.

Solid Cedar timber ceiling on domed surface. The arc shape was no problem for our carpenters. This dome ceiling was lined using solid Cedar. The client was told by other carpenters that it was ‘impossible’ to install cedar lining to this dome as you ‘can’t bend wood’. For Perth Outdoor Installations this was just another job and any difficulties were quickly overcome in order to provide the client with an immaculate finish.

It is normal for cedar ceiling lining boards to have a lot of variation in colour like this one. Although the cedar we use is pre-finished and sealed it is likely that the lighter boards will darken a little over time. The predominant colours of this new house are charcoal and limestone. The cedar lining boards contrasts well with these colours and give this outdoor area real class.
