In this instance, the glass fencing railing proves to be good barrier and enclosure. It prevents accidental tripping off the deck and of course acts as a barrier from the rest of the area. The beauty of the glass balustrade, is the fact that is does not 'enclose' the area, such as timber balustrade fence would. There is no feeling of being in a box!
